Dr. Cuica received his degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in January of 2013 from the National Autonomous University of Mexico School of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, being this the oldest veterinary school in the Western Hemisphere tucked away in the southwest corner of Mexico City and AVMA Accredited.
Dr. Cuica is originally from Mexico City but was raised between his hometown and Sullivan City a small town in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas where later he established himself until he moved to the Midwest back in June of 2014.
However, tired of being home sick and unhappy with the extreme and freezing weather, he decided to make his way back to the great state of Texas in 2019.
In his spare time, Dr. Cuica enjoys spending time with family, grilling, camping, boating, or riding his Harley Davidson.
Dr. Cuica has three dogs, Frida, a 14 year old Chihuahua, and his two Miniature Schnauzers, Elsa and Captain, they love to play and spend time with their pack!
Dr. Deborah Gass is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. A South Texas Native, Dr. Gass moved to San Antonio in the 1990’s. She graduated from Sandra Day O’Connor High School in 2003 and received a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from the University of Texas. Dr. Gass has 8 years of experience that includes work in an emergency & critical care clinic and small animal practice. She has a passion for preventative medicine and enjoys working with cats. At home she has one daughter, 5 dogs, and 4 cats to keep her busy!
